About Megan

Megan Waddy is the founder and creatrix of Ancient Origins Medicinals — a starseed, oracle, shamanic practitioner, psychedelic facilitator, Medical Herbalist, and multidimensional energy medicine practitioner. She is a third-generation settler living, working, and playing on the Traditional and Unceded territory of the Quw’utsun’ people. Her blood and bones carry Norse and Celtic ancestry; her spirit carries the memory of the stars.

Since childhood, Megan has been in connection to her star family and her multidimensional self. Her life’s mission is to be a bridge between Earth and Star — helping others awaken to their true essence, embody their soul’s purpose, and live in reciprocity with all of Creation.

Her work is a weaving of clinical herbalism, plant spirit medicine, oracular vision, intuition and ceremonial healing. Megan holds both group and individual healing sessions, guiding people into deeper connection with their higher and multidimensional selves. Her areas of specialty include soul ascension, compassionate depossession, curse unwinding, ancestral lineage healing, communing with star beings, and restoring harmony between people, the Earth, and the unseen realms.

Megan’s formal studies include a Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology from the University of Victoria, a three-year Medical Herbalist Diploma from Pacific Rim College, and master’s-level counselling courses. She has trained in Somatic Experiencing with Peter Levine, PhD; studied Ancestral Lineage Healing with Daniel Foor; and completed an Alchemical Herbalism program integrating alchemy, spagyrics, medical astrology, traditional western herbalism, Ayurveda, and indigenous traditions.

Her path has been shaped by over a decade in the field of Mental Health and Addictions — much of it as a Psychiatric Case Manager — where she deepened her capacity for trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and grounded presence. Beyond her professional career, Megan’s most profound teachers have been the plants, the land, and the spirit allies she has worked with across the world.

Since 21, she has immersed herself in advanced shamanic training: a three-year Core Shamanism program through the Michael Harner Institute; apprenticeship with Haida Medicine Man Nungkaathgaa (Douglas Wilson) in rites of passage, ceremony, journey work, and compassionate depossession; metaphysics and dreamwork with Chaty Secaira; and Celtic herbal magic and somatic herbalism with Sean Padraig O’Donoghue. Her studies have taken her through South America, Africa, Mexico, Central America, and Europe to work in traditional plant medicine ceremonies.

Since 2019, Megan has been mentored by Norse/Coast Salish shamanic practitioner Betsy Bergstrom in compassionate depossession, curse unwinding, seidr, and Norse energy healing. She has completed a 1.5-year apprenticeship with Norse shaman Johannes B. Gårdbäck, deepening her ancestral healing practices, and has spent the past two years immersed in the European traditions of Bee Shamanism with Ariella Daly.

At the heart of Megan’s work is the remembrance that we are both of the Earth and of the Stars — and that healing comes when we live from that knowing. Her intention is to integrate modern clinical herbalism with oracular, ceremonial, psychedelic, and multidimensional energy medicine, walking with each person on their journey toward wholeness, belonging, and luminous connection.

Coryn is a medical herbalist rooted in the traditional territory of the Lək̓ʷəŋən and Xwsepsum Nations. Of Norse and Slavic descent, she carries a diverse lineage that informs her relationship with the plants, the land, and the unseen worlds.

Her work bridges wild-crafted medicine, astrological wisdom, and conscious relational practice, offering clients a space of deep trust and heart-centered care.

As a practitioner, Coryn invites her clients to explore the full breadth of their human experience—compassionately unraveling the threads that lead toward authenticity, vitality, and wholeness.

She weaves together scientific knowledge with intuitive, spirit-led plant teachings, grounded in the belief that the body is an intelligent life force capable of profound healing. Through this, she guides each person in discovering their unique pathway to health and well-being.

Coryn holds a three-year Diploma in Medical Herbalism from Pacific Rim College, where her clinical training centered on serving underprivileged populations, including Indigenous and unhoused communities. She has also worked extensively in the field of psilocybin and microdosing support, an experience that has deepened her trauma-informed approach and refined her ability to adapt to the unique needs of each client.

Her work is especially resonant with shadow work, the symbolic cycles of death & rebirth, and the journey of returning to one’s soul purpose.

She draws strength and inspiration from her profound relationship with Mother Ocean and with fungi—teachers of transformation, trust, and resilience.

At the heart of her practice is a vision of the body and human relationships as vessels of healing.

She believes that by attuning to the intelligence of the body and the wisdom of community, we can move into deeper harmony with ourselves, each other, and the living world.
